On 25 July 2025, the HKU Engineering Alumni Association embarked on a meaningful visit to Huawei’s campuses in Dongguan. The visit explored Huawei’s smart systems showcase, advanced manufacturing facilities, and enterprise exhibition halls, gaining firsthand insights into the company’s cutting-edge technologies and sustainable innovations.
A thematic discussion on enhancing infrastructure engineering productivity through innovation and technology fostered valuable exchange between our alumni, students and Huawei experts. The visit highlighted the importance of industry-academia collaboration and provided a platform for knowledge sharing and future engagement.
