The H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA) was delighted to collaborate with the MSc Student Commons & Enrichment of the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Hong Kong, to co‑organize the seminar “Thriving in Hong Kong: Career Pathways for Engineering Graduates”, supporting Master’s degree students in exploring career development and opportunities in Hong Kong.
With the strong support of Hong Kong Talent Engage and Michael Page (Page Executive), the seminar featured insightful sharing on Hong Kong’s talent admission schemes and the evolving employment landscape. Master’s students gained industry‑focused insights into hiring trends, in‑demand roles, and long‑term career planning within the Engineering and IT sectors were shared to better equip students for the local job market.
The programme also included experience sharing by non‑local alumni from diverse industries, providing practical perspectives on career pathways, professional transitions, and adapting to Hong Kong’s working environment.
Through initiatives like this seminar, HKUEAA remains committed to supporting students beyond academic study by connecting them with industry partners, alumni networks, and career‑focused resources, empowering future engineering professionals to thrive in Hong Kong.
