To cultivate a strong and close-knit alumni network, HKUEAA appoints advisors from diverse sectors, both private and public, along with class representatives from different graduating years. These individuals serve as key facilitators, promoting the exchange of alumni news and fostering engagement within various organizations and peer groups. The introduction of the HKUEAA Advisors and Class Representative systems since 2017 has yielded positive feedback and shown promising outcomes.
On 9th April 2024, the appointment ceremony took place in the Innovation Wing of HKU, providing a platform for alumni, the executive committees of HKUEAA, and members of the HKU Faculty of Engineering to discuss and share insights on alumni development. The event was met with enthusiastic participation from attendees, fostering a vibrant atmosphere and enabling meaningful connections to be forged.
