We are delighted to announce the successful completion of “Career Navigation: Firm Visit to Arup”, held on 14 April 2026, specially organised for engineering students.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for participants to gain first‑hand exposure to the working environment of a leading global engineering consultancy. During the session, Arup representatives shared insightful perspectives on career prospects within Arup and the wider engineering industry, helping students better understand the diverse development pathways available to aspiring engineers.

Young engineers from Arup also shared their personal career journeys, offering practical insights into their day‑to‑day work, professional growth, and experiences in a real workplace context. Through these candid sharings, participants were able to connect academic learning with industry practice.

The programme also featured an office tour, allowing students to learn more about Arup’s collaborative working environment and its knowledge management framework, which supports innovation and knowledge sharing across disciplines.

Overall, the firm visit helped students develop a broader understanding of the engineering profession, gain clearer insights into engineers’ roles in the workplace, and better prepare themselves for future career planning.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Arup for their warm hospitality and meaningful sharing, which made this visit both inspiring and educational.
