HKUEAA Annual Dinner 2023

We extend our warmest greetings to all the attendees of the HKUEAA Annual Dinner 2023, under the captivating theme of "Heritage - Reunite with friends and alumni," held on January 20, 2024, at Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. It was an evening filled with joy and camaraderie as over 520 guests came together to celebrate this memorable occasion.

We were greatly honored to have The Honourable Jack SO Chak-kwong, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Board of Airport Authority Hong Kong, as our esteemed Guest of Honor. His presence added prestige and significance to the event. We were equally privileged to have the distinguished presence of our esteemed alumni, guests, friends, and students, who graced the occasion with their company.

The evening commenced with inspiring speeches delivered by Ir Barry SUM (President of HKUEAA), The Hon. Jack SO, and Professor David SROLOVITZ (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering). Their words set the tone for the night, infusing it with a sense of excitement and anticipation. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of awarding three HKUEAA Scholarships to deserving student recipients, recognizing their outstanding achievements.

The atmosphere of the night reached its pinnacle with a captivating singing performance by Miss Miranda LI Jia and the A-Capella group, Boonfaysau. Their enchanting melodies and harmonies brought a touch of magic to the event, leaving a lasting impression on all those in attendance.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our esteemed guests, both familiar faces and new acquaintances, for their enthusiastic participation. Your presence contributed to the success of the evening and made it truly memorable. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors whose generous support made this event possible. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our dedicated volunteers, without whom this night would not have been possible.
