Technical Visit to CLP Power Quality Workshop

The H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (H.K.U.E.A.A.) is going to hold a technical visit to the Power Quality Workshop at CLP, Sham Shui Po Centre.

Joining the technical visit to learn more about power quality issues and how customers can reduce their impact.

Voltage dips and harmonic distortions are 2 major power quality issues. To share the knowledge with customers, CLP established a Power Quality Workshop to:

• Illustrate the causes and impact of power quality issues and

• Demonstrate practical measures that customers may adopt to mitigate power quality issues.

• Applicants who are not yet HKUEAA members should join the membership (https://www.alumni.hku.hk/hkueaa/registration.html) prior to the technical visit registration so as to secure the places.

• Successful participants will receive a confirmation email and for those who do not show up without prior notice and valid reason, your application for participating upcoming 2 consecutive visits would be affected.
