HKUEAA Overseas Tour 2026 to the UAE - Open for application

The H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA) is thrilled to present our highlight event of the year: the Overseas Tour 2026 to the UAE, themed “The Future City – Mega Projects & Sustainable Ambition”!

The tour offers you a chance to experience a fascinating blend of heritage, innovation, and sustainability as we explore how the UAE is shaping the future through visionary mega projects and cultural authenticity. From renewable energy to futuristic urban planning, you will witness firsthand the UAE’s ambition in engineering excellence and sustainable development.

Highlights of the tour include (tentative and subject to confirmation):

1. Eco-Futurism Unleashed: Visit Masdar City, the world’s first sustainable urban community, and discover revolutionary aerial mobility technologies.

2. Epic Engineering Marvels: Explore large-scale sustainable energy initiatives such as the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, and tour the Yas Marina Formula 1 Circuit.

3. Timeless Arabian Heritage: Experience the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Dubai’s historic Old Town, and a scenic Abra ride across Dubai Creek.

4. Cutting-Edge Wonders: Ascend the Burj Khalifa, explore the Museum of the Future, and ride the monorail across Palm Jumeirah.

5. Thrilling Desert Adventures: Enjoy a Desert Safari with BBQ dinner, camel rides, sandboarding, and cultural performances including Tanurah, Dabke, Khaleegy, Belly Dance, and Fire Show.

• Date: 30 May – 6 June 2026 (Saturday – Saturday)

• Fee (including flights, accommodations, and meals):

HK$9,600*# for full-time undergraduate/postgraduate students

HK$16,000* for graduates from 2021 to 2025

HK$23,000 for other alumni

(* Sponsored by HKUEAA; # Excludes a HK$2,000 fully refundable deposit upon successful completion of the tour and group project.)
