You are cordially invited to join the highlight event of HKUEAA in January 2025: Delegation to Beijing. This is a fantastic opportunity to travel with your friends and colleagues while networking with experts involved in groundbreaking projects, all while visiting world-famous cultural sites!
You will have the chance to explore the three key themes: academic enrichment, cultural immersion, and technological insights. Beijing is renowned for its rich historical culture and remarkable engineering achievements. This delegation offers you the chance to enhance your understanding of both cultural and technical aspects of engineering.
Delegation highlights:
Sharing and exchange with Top Beijing University: Engage with leading academics (preferably Tsinghua University) and explore groundbreaking research and innovations in engineering and technology.
Xiaomi: Discover the latest advancements in smart manufacturing technology at Xiaomi EV factory. Learn how they are revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry through innovation and automation.
Technical Site Visits: Participate in visits to various engineering firms and innovation parks in Beijing to gain insights into the latest technologies and industry trends.
The Great Wall: No trip to China would be complete without visiting this iconic landmark. Walk along the Great Wall and soak in its historical significance while enjoying breathtaking views.
The Palace Museum: Dive into China’s rich cultural heritage at the Palace Museum (Forbidden City). Explore the magnificent architecture and extensive collections that showcase the history of Chinese imperial art.
Delegation details are as follow:
Date: 6 January to 10 January 2025 (Monday to Friday)
Fee:
• $3000-$3300 per head for Full-time undergraduate / postgraduate students
• $5300-$5800 per head for Part-time postgraduate students, young alumni graduated in 2020 - 2024
• $7500-$8300 per head for Alumni graduated before 2020
(flight w/ tax, shared room accommodation, ground transportation & meals inclusive)
*All the participants must be members of HKUEAA before departure.
*The exact fee for each participant will be detailed in the registration confirmation email.
*The fees include sponsorship from HKUEAA.
